Join the La Ventana Hostel volunteer program
La Ventana Hostel welcomes volunteers who want to help keep the space warm, clean, useful, and easy for guests. In exchange, you get to live in town, meet travelers from everywhere, and be part of the everyday rhythm of the hostel.
We are in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, a small sea town known for wind sports, fishing, mountain biking, and the Sea of Cortez. We look for people who are reliable, social, self-directed, and comfortable working as part of a small team.
Basic tasks can include helping at reception, keeping common areas tidy, supporting guest questions, helping with simple hostel projects, assisting around the smoothie bar when needed, and helping care for the hostel cats.

Volunteers use the shared kitchen, rooftop deck, WiFi, and common areas during the program. It is a good fit if you want a real town experience and understand that a hostel works because everyone contributes.
